AccessRadar vs other Jira access review apps
A fair comparison of AccessRadar with three Jira Cloud apps for access reviews and permission audits, based only on what each app states on its own Marketplace listing.
Information based on public listings as of November 2026. Last checked: 2026-11-03.
In short
All four apps run on Atlassian and help you answer who can access what in Jira. They differ in who runs the review, whether the app changes permissions itself and what evidence you get at the end. AccessRadar is read-only and focuses on review evidence that auditors can verify.

When to choose which
AccessRadar
Choose AccessRadar if you need recurring access reviews with Keep, Revoke and Exception decisions, a required justification, and evidence an auditor can check: effective access resolved through groups, roles and permission schemes with a why path, snapshots that show what changed since the last review, and on Advanced SHA-256 signed, hash-chained reviews, campaigns, delegated reviews and a Rovo agent. AccessRadar only reads Jira and never changes permissions, so revokes are done in Jira and verified on the next snapshot.
Project Access Review by Akeles
Its listing describes reviews run by project admins, who see every user with Browse or Admin access to their project and set a review status, while Jira admins get a summary across projects. It also helps spot inactive projects for archiving. It is listed as a free app and shows the Runs on Atlassian badge. See the listing.
Access Reviewer360 by miniOrange
Its listing covers reviewing access, recording decisions and revoking access that is no longer needed, finding inactive users and excessive permissions, and a global view of project roles. A fit if you want to revoke access from inside the review tool. It shows the Runs on Atlassian badge. See the listing.
AuditAdmin for Jira by MOY Apps
Its listing focuses on looking up access: global permissions, project permissions, any user's or group's access and project role members, with export to CSV or JSON, and it notes the app does not require full admin privileges. A fit for quick audits and exports. It shows the Runs on Atlassian badge. See the listing.
How we compared
We read each app's own public Atlassian Marketplace listing on 2026-11-03: the overview, highlights, privacy and security section, hosting options and pricing model. We did not test competitor apps and we only state what their vendors state. Where a listing does not mention something, the table says so rather than guessing. Listings change, so check the vendor listing before you decide.
